Belen SOS Medical Centre

The SOS Medical Centre Belen helps orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the local community. It began its work in 2003. It now sees more than 500 patients every month. It serves the local community which lacks adequate medical facilities. The SOS Medical Centre provides general medical care as well as pre- and post-natal care. In addition the centre supports orphaned and vulnerable children and their families with prevention programmes through vaccination and education, including family planning.

Hohenau SOS Medical Centre

The SOS Medical Centre, Hohenau helps orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the local community. It works in four districts of the local community. It is primarily a mother and child clinic that supports the poorest families in the local communities - malnourished children, mothers who are unable to breast feed their babies. The SOS Medical Centre also has prevention programmes, through education, family planning and vaccination.

San Ignacio SOS Medical Centre

The SOS Medical Centre, San Ignacio helps orphaned and vulnerable children and their families in the local community. It works with the poorest families in the community. Its primary purpose is to help mothers and young children. Many of their patients will travel long distances by road and river to receive basic primary health care, including pre- and post-natal care. In addition the SOS Medical Centre gives education on family planning, prevention of illness as well as vaccinations

Asuncion SOS Social Centre

The SOS Social Centre, Asuncion focusses on supporting orphaned and vulnerable children especially those who are malnourished. The SOS Social Centre makes home visits to the poorest families to assess their needs. In addition the centre runs skills training workshops to help the poorest families to earn a living
